The Saint Constantine School – Houston, TX

The Saint Constantine School is seeking a passionate and Christ-centered High School

Men’s Competitive Volleyball Coach to help build and develop our growing athletic

program. This is an exciting opportunity to mentor student-athletes while establishing a

strong foundation for a developing girls' volleyball program.

Position Summary

The High School Men’sVolleyball Coach is responsible for leading all aspects of the team,

including player development, practice planning, game preparation, and fostering a

culture of excellence, discipline, integrity, and sportsmanship. The coach will work closely

with the Athletic Director and other coaching staff to support the mission and values of The

Saint Constantine School.

Responsibilities

• Teach proper techniques, strategy, and sportsmanship.

• Foster a positive, encouraging, and Christ-centered team culture.

• Mentor student-athletes in character, leadership, and personal responsibility.

• Prepare the team for competitions through organized practices and game planning.

• Communicate effectively with parents, athletes, and the Athletic Director.

• Ensure a safe practice and competition environment.

• Maintain equipment and assist with uniform accountability.

• Attend coaches' meetings and school athletic events as requested.

• Represent The Saint Constantine School with professionalism and integrity.Qualifications

• Previous volleyball coaching or competitive playing experience preferred.

• Experience working with middle school-aged students is preferred.

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Willingness to support and uphold the mission and Christian values of The Saint

Constantine School.

• Must successfully complete all required background checks and any school-

required training prior to employment.

Schedule

• August 3rd to October 19th

• Practices: M/T/W/Th 4 to 6pm

• Games: Primarily weekday evenings 12 to 14 games per season

• Attendance at coaches' meetings and occasional school athletic events may be

required.

Compensation

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience and required hours

Range $2,500 to $3,000
